Logistics without noise — clear responsibilities.
Logistics impacts cost, risk and accountability. Prowal is not a freight forwarder — we act as a coordinator to keep Incoterms, documentation and handover aligned.
Our role
We coordinate between supplier, your logistics partner and your internal stakeholders. The goal is clarity: who is responsible for what, when, and under which terms.
Common problems without coordination
- Unclear liability and cost ownership
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping documents
- Wrong Incoterm for the project profile
- Disputes in case of delay or damage
- No clear handover moment
Incoterms in practice
EXW — Ex Works
Maximum responsibility for the buyer. Best for experienced importers with strong logistics control.
FOB — Free On Board
Common for China sourcing. Supplier delivers to port; buyer takes over from there. Good balance of control and cost.
CIF — Cost, Insurance & Freight
Supplier arranges transport to destination port. Less control, but can be convenient for simpler flows.
DDP — Delivered Duty Paid
Maximum convenience for the buyer, but details matter. Suitable only when scope and responsibility are fully understood.
Documentation & handover
Correct documentation is critical for smooth import. We help ensure readiness before shipment and support clean handover to your freight partner.
Typical documents
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Bill of Lading / Sea Waybill
- Export-related documents
Our boundary
- We are not a customs broker
- We don’t take fiscal liability
- We do ensure preparation is correct
Shanghai hub
Shanghai is often used for consolidation and coordination, enabling flexibility in planning and transport choices.
- Consolidation across suppliers
- Improved control over loading and documentation
- Efficient use of transport capacity
